Restaurant park in Hanley boosted by new eateries and coffee house
A PROMINENT development in Hanley has been completed and is set to house a selection of national food and drink brands.
Construction of Etruria Mills is now completed, with popular names Costa Coffee, TGI Friday’s and Nando’s getting ready to open their doors to the public this summer.
The 15,000 sq ft development has been carried out by Characin Developments and funded by portfolio investment company DMGT, with Sladen Estates acting as development manager. It is set to be a popular location, offering a great selection of places to eat and drink for shoppers, families and those working locally.
Chief executive of Sladen Estates, Nick Sladen, said: “Attracting national restaurant brands reinforces investor confidence within this area, and many already occupy a number of retail and leisure units nearby.”
Etruria Mills is located on the busy Etruria Road and Potteries Way junction opposite the Octagon Retail Park and Premier Inn hotel. The Odeon multiplex cinema and tenpin bowling alley are also only a short walk away which firmly establish this venue as a great retail and leisure destination.
Nick continued: “Sladen Estates has a proven track record in delivering high quality, commercial buildings to meet the specific needs of all types of occupier. The leisure and tourism sector is expanding in Stoke-on-Trent, and we are delighted the area’s food and drink scene is set to be enhanced by the development.”
