Big Stan was a stand alone warehouse / industrial unit located on Stanley Matthews Way, Stoke on Trent. The building was speculatively purchased in January 2015 in and underwent and extensive refurbishment and extension which saw the unit increase in size by over 40,000 sq. ft. to 220,067 sq. ft along with a full refit of the offices, re-cladding to the existing building and roof along, a new yard, increased car parking provision and improved access points to the yard and car parking areas.
Following a short marketing campaign the unit was successfully let on a long term lease to Amazon.
The development was a joint venture between Sladen Estates Ltd and Peveril Securities Ltd.
