The redevelopment of the former Park 66 leisure park in Pilsworth, Bury will see the regeneration of a longstanding vacant site. The area will be transformed into a haven of retail, leisure and employment with pre-lets already agreed with national occupiers.
The scheme will consist of 4 retail units, 2 drive-through restaurants, a gym and a 3 unit industrial/warehouse development. The scheme will generate over 250 jobs locally.
The high profile location offers excellent transport links to north Manchester’s major road network being only 2 miles from the M60/M62/M66 Junction.¬†Junction 3 of the M66 motorway is only 0.3 miles away with Bury Town Centre just 2 miles away.
Park 66 is surrounded by retail, leisure and employment occupiers, including the Asda store opposite, McDonalds, Travelodge hotel and Little 66 Business Park. The JD Sports national headquarters is located adjacent to Park 66 together with L’Oreal distribution centre and Holchem laboratories. Heywood Distribution Park is 2 miles to the east, with occupiers including Kuene and Nagel, Argos and Eddie Stobbart.
A planning application was submitted in early 2017 and is expected to be determined shortly.
